Mustangs remain tied for 1st in SVC

The Mustangs picked up a 24-9 win over Zane Trace on Friday to improve to 14-5 overall and 9-3 in the SVC to remain tied with Adean atop the SVC. This sets up a showdown on Monday at Westfall between the Mustangs and Warriors. In route to the victory the Mustangs set a school record for runs in a inning scoring 15 in the top of the seventh to break the game open. Alek Stonerock and Nathan Hock each picked up 5 hits in the game including a 2 run home run for Stonerock. Zach Wolfe and Neal Hegarty picked up 4 hits apiece and Cody Link hit a3 run Homer in the seventh as well. The Mustangs host cross county foe Logan Elm on Saturday in a twin bill starting at 10:00AM
