Mustangs Split at Charlie Ross Memorial

The Mustangs picked up a 10-1 win over host Oak Hill before falling in the Championship game of the "Charlie Ross Memorial" Tournament at Oak Hill. Alek Stonerock picked up the victory in game one going a strong seven innings allowing 3 hits and striking out six. Zach Wolfe, Nathan Hock, Matt Near, Cody Link and Trent Williamson all had 2 hits in game one. In the Championship game the Mustangs fell to Alexander 12-5, Colton Coreno picked up the loss and Vinnie Williamson and Zach Wolfe each had two hits. The Mustangs return to SVC action on Monday at Huntington, and travel to Adena on Tuesday for a make up game.
