Mustangs drop game to Panthers

The Mustangs dropped a tight one on Friday to the Southeastern Panthers 12-9. The Panthers jumped out to an early 7-1 lead the Mustangs fought back to make it 7-3 before falling behind again 12-4, then closing the gap to 12-9 in the 6th inning. Alek Stonerock came on in the 5th inning and held the Panthers scoreless over the final three innings. The Mustangs were led by Vinnine Williamson who was 2 for 4 with a double and Alek Stonerock who was 2 for 4 with a double. The Mustangs travel to Unioto on Monday for another SVC contest. The Mustangs record stands at 4-2 and 2-1 in the league.
